The German central government, regional governments and local communities assume joint responsibility for integration policy.

Neither the German central government, the regional governments or local communities can guarantee successful integration policy on their own. Only cooperation between all of them and the networking of available services can guarantee an effective, practicable integration policy designed to serve citizens.

We give you a general outline, on the next few pages, of the advisory services available to immigrants throughout the whole of Germany and in the Mettmann district in particular.
